The Wishing Song

So here's how it works:  you have to make up a small, 4-line song where the second and fourth lines rhyme with each other.  Here's an example.

Oh, I wish I had time
to sing you a song
But when I get started,
I sing all night long

But since this is Chess.com, let's make them chess related.  Here's a few I made:

You know what I'm up to
When my rook's on e8,
You better be careful
Or I'll give you a mate (e1#)

I knew that I had you
when you castled queen side
Since my pawn's on f6
I'll take my queen for a ride

I once played a French guy
who was eating croissants
He was indeed pretty startled
When I did en passant
