Time to ban all the Russians from chess.com

The war in Ukraine has reached a new low. Last week Russia has called for a mobilization of their forces and has held sham referenda, before today annexing occupied Ukrainian territory. The threat of nuclear war is bigger than it has been in history.

While I have been in favor of the measures taken so far by chess.com, including not showing the Belarusian and Russian flags, the war has reached a new stage. With news spreading that literally any Russian can be mobilized for war, it is time to subsequently ban every Russian on chess.com. There is no other way to guarantee that your opponent is not one of the people fighting in an unjust war and serving in an army that is actively committing war crimes. Even playing a single game can improve the morale of a Russian soldier, making it harder for the Ukrainian forces to retake their land. I do not want to be responsible for this. Moreover, it'd be much better if Russians at home would stop playing chess and start revolting before their leader launches a nuclear war.

It's time to act. The time is now.

I think Russians need to start acting with a lot more courage.  They need to get rid of Putin and end this themselves.
