I've discovered I'm a materialist. A physicalist. I'm not particularly smart but basically that means that for me anyway all is nature . Evolution is all there is.

I discovered through my experience free will is an illusion. I mapped my mind for years and years and eventually saw that .
Interestingly for me when I reviewed the science I found that both Einstein and Hawking came to the same conclusion.
I recently talked to a guy much smarter than I and he told me that actually the view that free will is an illusion is widely held within the scientific community.

And yet we hear so little in society about the non existence of free will. That's interesting to me . For if free will does not exist then what are the implications of that?

The last thing you are tom is a materialist. Simply put, you are a confused dreamer, someone incapable of understanding human nature, someone who rejects all but his distorted perspective.

There are many, many, Many levels, of dissatisfaction in our world today, {as Always}... And, I'm reminded of the quote - "I was feeling sorry for myself, because I only had one-pair of 'worn' shoes - Until, I met a man, with No feet." ..{my own chosen solace, is that I'm Not a 'refugee' 'in limbo' somewhere.. or worse perhaps - Malnourished ..though technically.. I'd like to start this thread with a declaration. I won't be copy and pasting. I want this thread to be purely my own words.
