If I'm being honest I don't get people who put depressing stuff as their status. I'm not sure what you're trying to tell others...? It kinda kills conversations. Don't take this the wrong way.

If you want to help him, why don't you guys get an actual help link? I'm not entirely sure, but I think there are places to help with depression. Not on a chess website.

What not to do is publicise this. If you do not know him in real life you have to accept that there's not much you can do. Even if you do and he's a kid, it has to go through his guardians or social services or whatever works in that state. Either way best to discuss it in private with people who really care, not on the forums.
