to sum it up we (my fiancee and i) were preparing to move out of state for this big job promotion they were all but guaranteed to get. they still had to go through an interview process just to have it on the record but then they chose someone else so that branch of the company wouldn't shut down, we're Living in my mom's house in one small room, the environment is good but also Messed up, and we were excited to move because i have family there that could've given me work while finishing the manuscript to my debut popup book series and i'm just feeling really down about it

like i'm in a band so i am glad i'll get to stay and play on with them but i've been in a month long rut with the manuscript (hence joining otf in the first place) and idk it's just disappointing :/: the branch they were going to manage has a super high turnover rate of managers- 4 in the last 2 years- which insinuates there's something wrong with the communication between corporate and the team and i'm just hoping they'll see how much better of an option my fiancee genuinely is compared to some chump they probably just pulled out of a hat. like their boss stuck their neck out and everything to get them this promotion because they are ready, but yeah idk

i just had to type it out cus like so many of us on here i don't have friends and i'm trying so hard to finish this project going on 2-3 years now depending on how you look at it and it feels like i'm never getting out and i just feel stuck </3

Stay positive; I’m sure that everything will work out. It’s a high possibility that your fiance can get the job if you wait a little while for the current person doing the job screws up.

And best of luck on your project.
