Perhaps there is explanation for everything.That was in god's knowledge.Post #210 seems to be a destiny for human being.Religion is to encourage science endeavor.But scientist seems to misjudge on religion.Finally,causality is reside in our realm.Religion also state that human is mostly obey their guess eventhough it is good to construct a theory.

I just jogged along a beach with a beautiful orange red sunrise shinning off silver waves .

As I left the beach I felt a sadness . I guess no matter how tough our lives get we can always find solace in nature

There was a moment I noticed this sadness as I left the beach I thought this sadness is what you religious guys would describe as the soul . How we are affected by things .

Who we truly are you'd say . I can accept that to an extent . I think there are layers of truth .

So we have free will in terms of we can do what we want , we have a self in terms of we have feelings in response to things .

If you want to say this is the true us I can see that .

However maybe there is a deeper truth . I suspect so .

I believe the absolute truth is we fit within nature and are not apart from it .

I think though we experience ourselves doing what we want we never got to decide what e want so the truth is we are just within the river of nature .

I expect that this self idea is similar . In some way all we truly are is nature it just doesn't seem that way because of our point of view .

I experience it's all one . Once your view of free will changes , once you accept that we have no true control , then we accept all there is is everything

Sometimes people question whether this thread has brought me any thing extenza , if I've learned anything , progressed any further.

The biggest thing that springs to mind is I've finally came to accept that there is a natural explanation for everything .

Something else I've realised is that because free will doesn't exist it's not going to make a practical change to your life to understand what you are .

It's so seductive guys to believe that we are here through design , we don't want to be an accident do we ?

But , you know I'm mindful , I notice my experience, my flow of consciousness and what I notice is that we naturally love .

Maybe it's true this is an evolutionary trick I don't know but it's true and it's what makes us worthwhile . We care

Also once you accept that you don't have free will you became less certain about why you do the things you do .

Sometimes though events bring a clarity about that . For example you give up something when you realise it won't bring a certain outcome .
