Oh yeah, arguments in your thread helps. I had a 200+ comment thread because Jason Repa was arguing in it. Ended up getting deleted because you know, it’s Jason Repa, but still most arguments won’t get deleted and score you a lot of post. However, most of those post will be off topic.

He’s banned now from what I know. He makes new accounts a lot, but the last one he made was banned. Sure he’ll come back someday though.
