The clouds
What is your most favorite poem?
Honestly, I don’t have one.
I mostly just read them for fun.
And out of all of them, which is a ton,
none of them particularly won.
Do Not Go Gentle Into that Good Night - Dylan Thomas
A poem about a dying parent. I think it is the most gutting poem on the theme of mortality and death.
Definitely The Chaos by Gerard Nolst Trenité. A classic tongue-twisting jab at the English language.
Do Not Go Gentle Into that Good Night - Dylan Thomas
A poem about a dying parent. I think it is the most gutting poem on the theme of mortality and death.
It is also used excellently in Interstellar (2014). The messages it provides for the struggles of humanity in its death throes are incredible.
