Oh, you poor, sheltered soul! Let me enlighten you about the "coke" you've been missing out on. You see, it's not just a fizzy drink; it's an experience, It's a white, powdery substance that people just looove to snort, you know, for that extra kick in life. It's like a magic dust that makes you feel invincible, energetic, and on top of the world! 🌟💥

But hey, don't worry, it's not all rainbows and unicorns. There's a tiny little downside: it's extremely addictive and can ruin your life, relationships, and health and it's illegal🚓💉🚫

Ok tell me this - the body doesn’t want co2
It’s exhaled

Then why put that into the body?

Breeze I have thought the same thing before!!!!
Avatar of breezehappysquirrel
It’s the byproduct cells produce like the exhaust fumes lol then why put it back ?

When you sip on a Coke, the CO2 in it gives you that fizzy feelin'. It's not the same CO2 your body kicks out when you breathe. The amount of CO2 in your drink is super small and ain't no biggie for most folks. Our bodies can handle it.

See what I found -

Our body is pretty clever, and it has a few ways to deal with this CO2.

About 5 to 7 percent of it simply dissolves in your blood plasma, like a tiny bubble bath for your red blood cells.

Another 85 percent is carried as part of the bicarbonate buffer system, which helps maintain the pH balance in your blood.

But, eventually, all that CO2 needs to be expelled from your body.

That's where your lungs come in.

When you exhale, the CO2 diffuses from your blood into your lungs, and then it's whisked away with each breath.

Can’t they put oxygen instead and make it fizzy….. wondering

Or will we die? Lol

#11 are you sure about it? How big is a coke can and how much an average person consumes?

Nah, oxygen can't replace CO2 in drinks to make 'em fizzy. CO2 reacts with water differently, creating that bubbly feel we love. Oxygen just doesn't cut it the same way.

How about nitrogen then?

Nitrogen doesn't dissolve as well

The CO2 in a can of Coke is usually not a big deal for most people. But, consuming too many fizzy drinks can lead to other health issues.
