Sosuke Aizen. Bro is already very smart himself, and can just create illusions if we count powers.

I think it would be Sora from no game no life. He defeats powerful chess engines like stockfish or leela in the anime with ease. His elo will probably be 4000+

Plus his match in the anime proved he would not be a super GM.
It’s honestly weird that bro can beat government funded chess engines but could barely outplay a random hyper intelligent girl. The author just tries to chalk all of that up to Tsukishiro.
If my classmates are right, Shiro from the anime No Game No Life would beat him. She’s apparently solved chess.

     Zuno.

Hey fellow chess and anime fans! π
I’ve been thinking lately — if anime characters played chess, who would actually be the best at it?
Would Light Yagami dominate with psychological traps? Would Lelouch plan 10 moves ahead like it’s Code Geass 4D chess?
Or maybe someone totally unexpected. πβοΈ
As a proud fan of both chess and anime (and yeah, my LucarioGambit might give it away... to myselfπ¦), I’m super curious what others think.
