I got The Ranger's Apprentice: The Ruins of Gorlan on Saturday, and I enjoyed it. It's a short book, but a huge series. There are two series under the same name, though (which makes no sense whatsoever).

the seventh victim by Micheal wood. It was a great book but is a bit sensitive to younger audiences so it would be best if you asked your parents before reading it... Also how old are you? It may help in finding future recommendations based on your age range.
