The cat will eat the bunny’s, don’t doubt this for a second. But have it declawed, and get it as a kitten. Have it neutered and spayed as well.

No lots of the cats if found says "good with other animals" also I do not want it declawed that is just so evil 😭

Idk... Maybe you two can take care of the cat and not trying to involve your parents in taking care of it. They might accept your request.

Also as a musician ( other musicians will understand this) I want to call the cat either Arpeggio Debussy Ravel or Mozart

Do your bunnies live outside? And will the cat be outdoor, indoor, or both?
Avatar of Nika_Violin_Girl

Bunnies indoor, but they can only be on a small carpet area. The hardwood is too slippery for them 😭 the cat will def be indoors

Okay, if you get a full grown cat and not a kitten, the cat will probably try to attack the bunnies so def get a kitten. For convincing your parents idrk I suck at that.

Actual advice pls

If you can find a method to get the cat in such a way the parents don't know before it's there, it's possible you could force the parents to give in by fait accompli ("It's too late to give it back, so we'll just have to accept the new status quo"), BUT if you try this relations will be strained for a few weeks or even a couple months (depending on how complicated a commitment your particular cat is).

#14 it is actual advice
It’s still my neighbors cat, but she spends most of the time here even tho we don’t feed her or have a litter box or anything

My parents would never let us get a cat otherwise but we still have one all the time

No sneaking in a cat no stealing a cat no doing anything without full consent

Avatar of Nika_Violin_Girl

That's just gonna make it worse

Cats are something else. You might think you're prepared. But trust me, you might not be.
