WHO WILL WIN THE STANLEY CUP
Bobby Orr was one of my heroes growing up. Always liked the Bruins except grew up in Auggie Town. We used to sneak six packs of Busch into the Arena and sit up high in the bleachers and and watch the game at 14. My cousins played on teams, we always played on the ice in winter and the concrete and roller skates in summer. I usually speed skated. The entire roster has changed since I stopped being a rabid sports enthusiast. I don't even recognize most of the names. Bruins all the way. I don't even see St. Louis in there, but now you have me curious. I always try to watch the Cup.
Best part, after the Zamboni, which is just a fun word to say, is the fights. The gloves hit the ice and twenty grown men with enough padding on to stop a charging rhino try to hurt each other. ![]()
Los Angeles Kings....the King always wins, come on guys this is chess.com.
The questions will get harder.
What happened to the Redwings? And shouldn't LA be the Queens? Or is that New York?
I'm from LA. Lower Alabama.
See, barely knowing those names, Panda's statement is becoming clear. Post that with no context and it is sure to baffle.
Blues, Bruins, Canadians, Flyers and Redwings were the powerhouses in the 70s. Take me back, oh take me back, I want to ride in Geronimo's Cadillac.
Watching Game 2 in fast motion. I am on the floor. I'm like, it's already in fast motion. It looks like a Keystone Cops episode.
Guess I haven't kept up since the 80s. We used to have the Ice Bats, but they closed down. We have like two ice rinks. We do have AAA baseball just north of Austin and a Soccer Stadium. And an F1 track. And lots of music and Willie and.... Austin loves its Willie.
