why are people so desperate for a relationship?

Here's the thing, since relations are seen as normal in growing from media, than being in one could help people feel like their life has some order. All my guess, though, and I think it's only a small reason.

To give a direct answer to the title, people have a deep desire for relationships built in. One reason they are so desperate may be that lots of people in this era are insecure or have depression
