I have talked with tons of people online, and I noticed that a lot of people (mostly americans) do this type of thing: when they introduce theirselves, sometimes they start and say "oh you are from Italy I am Italian". So, me in my mind thinks: italian=you are from Italy :3 so I ask something like which city are they from, and they answer something like "no bro I am from USA my dad/grandpa is from Italy" and they don't even know Italian, lmao. why do they do this?

For example, I have this new boy on school. He introduced himself and said that he was from Germany. I knew alot of Germany's geography (and history.....if ykyk....) so I ask him what he state did he come from. And he f-ing said "ummmm.......ugh......bye!" and instantly leaved the class. I mean come on. If u wanna try to look cool, ask Vege- pardon me.

I’m British, and my mum’s dad is black. But I don’t go around saying “I’m quarter black” cuz you can barely tell
