Those chess sets look very difficult to play with.
I believe the Mammoth Ivory Chess Set, avaible in the House of Staunton, meets ostentetion and playability much better.
And it is only about ten thousand dollars, so you just have to sell your car!

Ah so that's what happened to them...
I have to say I'm a firm ivory-hater because we all know how these things get made (well not the mammoth one), but boy it is beautiful. I would prefer it over those chess-juwels above.

Those other sets are weird and difficult to use. And the first one is just hiddeous.
Of course, if someone tells me to choose one and gives it to me, I would take the jewels, sell them and buy an Ivory one. And there would be lots of money to do other stuff!!!
