According to your religion. Not others. Thus, attempting religious discussion. Cut it out. 🪻

No. The mods are equipped with an orbital laser and will melt down your house instead.

As moderators, we have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with chess.com, which prohibits us from divulging certain secret information…

Just kidding!

I love watermelons. Just make sure to pack away the good chess set, as no matter how careful you cut them up & eat them, something's gonna spray.

why don’t you start writing in orange? 🎃👻🐧

See above post: Watermelons are green, not orange.

Also, chess.com's color is green, and when we edit a message of a member we want to make it very clear that it was edited by chess.com moderators or staff, and make that as obvious and accountable as possible by choosing one specific color, and signing with our names.

But I prefer the first explanation.

Lichess or chess?

As moderators, we are not bound to a single platform. Many of us are active on multiple platforms. Personally, I have Patron wings, and have contributed code to lichess.

While I play the vast majority of my games on chess.com, I prefer lichess puzzles, as they are more realistic and not as flashy. Also, their puzzle rating is way more accurate, although not as feel-good for beginners.
I have lobbied for classroom+libraries to be brought to the level of lichess studies, and I wish chess.com would add Racer, a filterable opening database, and show DTZ & DTM in endgame tablebases.

On the other hand, Puzzle Battle, lessons, the ability to quickly and anonymously share games on https://www.chess.com/analysis , offline analysis (important when I want to enter my games from the train home from some rural tournament location) are features that lichess lacks.

So I use both (and also other platforms – a lot of Chessable for example), depending on the task.

The rock band? Not quite my style.

The audio player app? I'm more of a Simple Audiobook Player guy. That app remembers the position of all my chess podcasts.

Weezer as in people from Weeze? They have a team playing in my league division, so we're connected in spirited but friendly competition.

Finding everything entertaining is boring. Except that would mean that I find being bored entertaining. Well played!

Question: why is the interface for forums on mobile so bad? It doesn’t have any features that the computer interface does, and it’s kinda annoying. Having the interface exists in the clubs, so why not here?

Unfortunately, we moderators have no say or insights into chess.com features and programming.

See https://support.chess.com/en/articles/8583752-how-do-i-report-a-bug-or-make-a-suggestion on how to report these issues. chess.com staff (not moderators!) regularly go over the most-reported issues and work on them.
