Do I see the rating adjustment correctly? - Chess Forums

I start a 9 day online game against a player and at moment his rating is above 1600. As our game goes on I notice his rating start to dip. I believe, i have seen that when his rating drops my rating adjustment for that game changes. Does this change sound correct?

Correct, the rating adjustment is only fixed at the moment the game finishes.

I think the rating changes should be based on what the ratings were at the time a game starts, not when a game ends.
