private forums

I bought my membership recently and I want to know how to access the private forums!?

Do you mean the group forums?  Each group has forums that can be read and posted to by their own members.  If you join a group then you have access to its forums.

He may mean the forums for Premium Members, in which case, the answer is that you just did access them.

no, I just saw that you could have private forums going on.

or are those just group forums???

The group forums are the only restricted forums I know of.

Goldendog just reported to me that he can read these forums in the premium thread, he just can't post to them-- the same as if the author had blocked him.

This is exciting. I better live it up now because I may not be able to afford to renew in a couple months.

I've been a premium member for three years and didn't even know there were Premium Member Forums. Guess I'm a little slow.

If you look through the topics of the premium forum threads a lot of them (majority?) don't really have anything to do with a premium membership.  Many of those that do are questions about features, and people thinking about becoming premium members would also benefit from active participation in those threads aside from just reading.  I don't really see the point in the premium-restricted access, unless it's like those old-money downtown clubs where most of the enjoyment comes from sitting around while knowing there are people who aren't allowed to sit with you.
