Why does Google Chrome not show the icon?

In the top-left corner of the page, if you're premium or staff, you'll see this:

<username><icon>|Help|Logout

The icon here is missing in Google Chrome. Why?

I have encountered this before but mine shows up now. I have no ideo why.

Firefox is prone to frequent memory leakage.

It's always been in the top right-hand corner of my screen, with and without Chrome. Make sure you're using the latest version. Try using Firefox 4 instead. If you want to stick with Chrome and you're already using the latest version try un-installing and re-installing it, which is a general rule of thumb for any buggy Windows program (doesn't always help, but can't hurt). I've noticed Chrome doesn't always show "check-off" boxes in some web pages, or they take awhile to load.

I don't really like Firefox 4 because it doesn't save your tabs and it disables Norton but it is very fast when you play Live Chess or do Tactics. It's great for chess.com but overall I think it needs a lot of work.

I use both Firefox and Chrome and I tend to like Chrome better.

Firefox 4 does save your tabs. When you re-start your browser you can recall the previous open tabs from the last session via History>Restore Previous Session.

If you want it to restore tabs on start-up by default, the Tab Mix Plus addon lets you do that.

I don't understand what you say about Norton. How could Firefox possibly disable anti-virus software?  There are plenty of free anti-virus programs available if you have some odd Firefox/Norton issue on your pc.

I like Firefox and Chrome, but IMO it is Chrome that still needs work - but it is super fast!  I might eventually switch over myself Smile

It didn't disable the physical program of Norton but it disabled the Norton toolbar and thanks for the advice on how to save my tabs. Smile

Oh, I see. Perhaps that will get fixed soon. Smile

I hope so because now I don't know wether a site is safe or not.

you guys are not answering my original question.

I think its because the premium icons are apng files (animated png) and chrome doesn't support them
