It was a great feeling. To see him come in from the playing hall with a smile painted on his face was priceless. I have to say that it was much more stressful than I had ever anticipated during the games. My stomach was in knots waiting for him to come back in.

I just wanted to share that I am coaching two local chess teams and took my first student to his first tournament yesterday. In a section of 20 players he won 2nd with 4/5 points and his only loss being to the player who won 1st. I have to tell you I was a very proud coach.
I just wanted to share this because I've learned so much in the last few years on chess.com and owe this site a bit of "thanks" for my student's success.
