Stop focusing on ratings. Start focusing on more concrete things like openings, tactics, strategy.
I just recently joined chess.com, rating is about 500, lost a lot of games. I stopped 1 minute games, only play 30 minute games. I just play for fun, no more, no less

I tinker for you to get better on chess you should take the daily chess.com lessons and play with the computer more frequently and always review your moves and games
