you can reconect, the server got over 4 times as much as new members and growth and member count over quarentine and they were not ready to handle it, especially the new members were more social than the old, the old took some time to find forums and etc but the new members are literally creating a ton of posts a day and etc creating a huge amount of load causing the server to have restarts, shutdowns and disconects

What makes it even worse is that I have had it happen when more than 10 moves have been played and I still have over 6 minutes left on the clock. Not good at all. I did tweak my connection settings to use sockets which has made it better but it's still a lousy way to lose a game.
Yesterday I played around 60 bullet games. Later in game history I found additional 3 games that I ve never played and their boards never popped up. All rating loses with zero moves made against much weaker opponents. One of them was during the Arena tournament, so I'm 100% sure that I was online occupied playing other game in this tournament. Another one took my attention when I won a game (+4) and instantly my rating dropped (-14) to one of those games in history. I don't care about winning or losing fake rating points just fix the site.
Over the last 3 days, I have been penalised with multiple abandoned games that I never actually abandoned. Every other site I go to is working fine and I even have YouTube streaming music with no pause yet my connection apparently got disconnected mid-way through a game. There is no way for me to reconnect either so I end up losing. From a software development perspective, this is very poor indeed. I am a software architect and have programmed many sites over the years. This sort of issue is paramount to the user experience and at the moment it is very poor. I have an excellent internet connection and never have this problem on other sites. Why not put a reconnect button or something so people can reconnect to the game server? Losing games like this and having your rating hit starts to make the whole experience tedious and not worthwhile.
