Most people who reply to old topics do it because they're old.
But yeah, I saw that. I thought it was funny the mod said no political discussion allowed... only took them 15 years to lock it... better late than never I suppose.

add warning when replying to old topics no longer active? there was someone who replied to a post from ten years ago then it was locked. the last post was from ten years ago???
warning when replying to inactive topics would discourage bumping old threads from years ago.
add a note at the top of the thread: the last post in this topic is more than 2 years. please start a new one if possible.
