After-game blunder number incorrect

The number of blunders/mistakes shown right when the game is finished is incorrect sometimes. When you go into the analysis or game report, it will often show a different number of blunders/mistakes there. Very strange.

It's because they are two separate processes and they run for different lengths of time so they come up with different results.

What on Earth is the point of that if it is going to potentially always be inaccurate?

So, which one is correct then?? I'm going to assume the analysis/game report?

The deeper the analysis, the more correct it will be. So a Game Review is going to be more accurate than the quick post-game one, and a deeper review run will be better than a shallower one. How much impact that has in reality will depend on the complexity of each position analyzed.

Its so you buy membership. I just had a trash game with "13 blunders" but used the free daily game review and now its only 4 blunders. If i was a paying member i would be at ease but as a non paying user that number would have ruined my day lol. I've gone on loosing streaks and get inside my own head with "lots" of blunders when the true number can only be known after a game review. which is unlimited if you pay. Its rather genius

The post game analysis is very quick and low depth. It's going to be different than a full analysis in almost all cases.

Honestly, I think it's a deliberate practice and one that's a bit shady. This phenomenon only occurs on the web version, not the mobile one, so it's clear they know how to make it work. To boot, I think with even an extremely low depth calculation 13 reducing to 4 is a little hard to believe.

It's possible optimization issues on the web version necessitate a lower depth calculation, but again, in a game with 2-4 blunders it's hard to miscalculate it as <10
