Animation before the game

It might be the Showcase Opponent Theme feature in Settings > Board & Pieces > Board Effects

i don't like the new animation in the beginning of a match. it's distracting when playing any fast and short games. It's some sort of A/B test? I don't see it every time and it has a different length.

Do you have the search box in the settings? You can type some specific option there and it appears quickly

No option to search on the app. Yet another example of chess.com not supporting the app particularly well.

The animation issue happened again. This time at the end of a daily game. Can chess.com please fix bugs before making more changes. It's clearly a bug, we all know this wasn't a creative choice by the developers.

No one is rushing chess.com for these UI changes so could the updates maybe, you know, be bug tested properly before they are released

And tested on a three minute game, the issue is happening at the end of games too.

Please don't rush your coders to push unfinished work. There's no need to rush this. Apart from my daily games, I'm switching to Lichess until this is fixed.
