Brilliant move finder

Hi there, hope this is the right forum for my suggestion:

I really like the chess.com game review, and probably feel a bit more pride than i should, whenever it shows me playing great or brilliant moves. That said, i would love a search function which would allow me to gather all my games where such moves were made in a list, by ways of filter or such.

I would not mind paying extra for that either, and would also appreciate it as function in something like Aimchess, but as a one time paid service? Aimchess is great but would be better when you could do micro or one time purchases, like pay per service or daily/weekly/monthly fixed prices....

Cheers!

Yes, brilliant moves aren't really brilliant. They are just decent sacrifices. It is nicer when you have played them deliberately, instead of just inadvertently leaving something hanging

That said , as a diamond member, you have Insights. You can use Insights to figure out when you have played brilliant moves by changing the date range restrictions. If you know that you played a brilliant move on such and such a day and you played 10 games that day, it is much easier to find.

I can see that you played 2 brilliant moves as white in daily games in the last month. Since you only played two daily games, it wasn't hard to find the games.

Hey there

Yes, i noticed that it's almost always a sacrifice or offering one that gets the moniker 'brilliant' and as someone who very much enjoys such tactics, im always very pleased when the engine 'rewards' me with the notification, confirming my idea was right..I've lost games after making a brilliant move a few times too, because sometimes the idea is right but the execution or follow up fails

Those are moments i love to go through, and as someone who usually only takes a diamond, platinum or gold sub for a month, i have often had games where i saw the brilliant move in the game review popup, but consequently could not locate the actual move due to having reached the max game review that day...

It's certainly not impossible to figure out, for instance as you showed above by using the insights tool, or manually tagging such a game for a later date, or going through the whole game by regular analysis and finding the moves with very high fluctuations on the eval bar etc..but i really would appreciate an easier way, as suggested ...and i really dont mind paying for such a service (within reason) 😅

That said, Thanks for your reply and time
