yes indeed I saw some of the other discussions too, wanted to post in the bug forum though since it doesn't seem to be getting addressed
This is apparently a bug, if you choose random in an unrated or computer vs game, the color simply never changes from what it was the first time. If you're black, it will stay black when you choose new game. If you're white, it will stay white. The only way for it to change is if you select a color and then reselect random. The colors never reset on a new game from what they are when you're choosing a bot opponent.
