if you feel anyone cheated you can report that id , chess.com carefully reviews it and takes action and also compensates you lost rating in that match
so keep up the positive attitude and keep playing
Cheers and happy chessing !!

HangingPiecesChomper, what if your opponent sees your desktop and finds out that you have Chessbase software open in the background?

It would be impossible because i have nothing chess related even installed my pc
would be more useful in bullet/blitz. i can see how their mouse is moving and in blitz, if they keep not moving their mouse and taking time for a move i know they're inputting the move on an engine instead of looking at the board.
I mean not everyone wants to doxx themselves, or have a camera, so that means barely anyone would do this, which increases matchmaking time, I don't know about you, but I'd rather play against a cheater in a few hundred games while getting my elo back later than this.
As long as accounts don't require verification, only an email address, the only thing chess.com can do is play whack-a-mole, just as they are... not only for cheating but for all forms of abuse, spam for example. VPN's are cheap, some even free. Email addresses are free. The problem with requiring more is that if they started asking members for personal information, too many would say, "oh, hell no!" and truck on over to Lichess.
I would like to only play against opponents who will live stream their desktop. It would be something where you opt in and your opponent can see your desktop at all times during the game. Reports in this pool would also have high priority as there is hard evidence.
