Daily Puzzle reminders

The last few days, I've been getting reminders/prompts about the Daily puzzle.

"Your Daily Puzzle is waiting for you!" or somesuch.

There are enough overly (choose appropriate adjective) popups already and while I realise I can usually figure out how to turn them off, when I haven't done the puzzle I would actually like to know. The trouble is they happen EVEN WHEN I'VE  done the puzzle.

Can this be fixed please!

The same problem here. Very, very annoying!

You can turn those off in your settings.

Yes. I can. And from my end that may be the best solution. The thing is turning them off means I don't get them when I havn't done the puzzle, when they would be useful. The problem is that they can happen even when I've done the puzzle. That's the irritating bit.
