Daily rating shouldn't show up as highest rating on profile

So when you click someone's profile, it shows their highest rating in their best time control so you can see like how good they are and what type of time control they are best at, but sometimes on their profile they have a random daily rating that is completely different than what their actual rating is, like for example someone's daily rating could be like 1200 but their rating in everything else (rapid, blitz, bullet) is like 800. This is a problem because whenever you click on someone's profile and they have a daily rating showing their actual rating could be literally anything under that. And I don't have any problem with people being good at daily chess, but the thing is when people choose a starting rating (400, 800, 1200, 1600) their daily chess rating is automatically set to this and then if they play a lot of live games and lose a lot of rating (like if they choose 1600 and tilt to like 1300) their daily chess rating will still show even when they haven't played any games. And this doesn't just show for a few people, it's basically everyone who set their rating too high and don't play daily chess at all (and lot's of people don't play daily chess). There's also an argument to be made that daily chess is very different from live chess (since a lot of people lose on time and there aren't many people in the pool) but that's not the point of this post.

Here is an example of my friend who is around 800 but started as 2000 rating somehow, so his daily rating is shown on his profile with 2000 even though he has never played (rated) daily games (also this isn't calling him out or shaming him I just needed an example)

when the rating is perfect zeros you know they have a different rating anyways

yeah but it's convenient to just be able to click ppl and instantly know their level, it's tedious to have to click on their profile every time. also sometimes they might play a few games and it wont be a clean 00 anymore

As solving who plays mostly daily games, that would be horrible.

Instead: only the controls in which you have played 10 games count.

In an ideal world, people could choose the ratings they see. If I'm mainly a daily player, I want to see daily ratings. A blitz player probably wants to see blitz ratings.
