Eval bar is not smooth

Not sure if this is just me but when I go to analyze games the eval bar on the left sharply goes from one level rather than gradually filling up or down in it's evaluation of the position, I couldn't find a setting to change this. I'm not sure if this is an update that's here to stay or if I am doing something wrong. I'd like to be able to have the smooth bar animation if that's an option. Asking for some help.
