Feature Idea: break up the trap vs. positional players

I’ve finally figured out how to put some frustration into words in a way that could actually be a cool improvement to matchmaking.

I’m an intermediate player, usually hovering around the 1400s on Blitz these days. At my level, you get players who like their little YouTube video traps, and you get players who play maybe more refined, positional games.

Now I’m not asking to remove the former from my matchmaking; I’m a good sport and can take my lumps if someone gets me with a trolly sideline. It’s when I get like 4-5 in a row. By the time I get a game I’m in the mood for on a chill Tuesday night, my brain is fried because I’ve been fending off stupid stuff.

Is there any way to profile tactical vs positional players and maybe give users a break who are getting bombarded with the trolly stuff? Just put a chill game in there after three annoying ones. Feels like there could be a way to leverage opening history or something.

Idk just sharing the thought
