Finish vs Computer disappeared!

Often I like to solve a chess puzzle then finish it off vs computer to see if I can checkmate. This is completely broken now! I see there is a new Practice vs Computer icon to replace it, however it will never let you choose the correct human side to finish the game! On  Finish vs Computer you will always get to make the next move which starts the player on the correct side.  No matter whos move is next now, it wont put you in the right colour.

I am really disappointed as this was a fun part of chess.com now its gone. Please fix asap! 

The bottom right icon is the switch sides button.

When I tested it earlier, it worked as expected.

It still doesnt work. After I switch sides the computer wont make a move after I move. It refuses to play the other side no matter what I try. I can undo one move, undo two moves, make a move, the computer refuses to change sides. Please fix it. 

here is a position. I am black, computer is white.

I move the Knight.

Now nothing happens. The computer wont make a move.  In the old 'Finish vs Computer' I can go back and make different lines and the computer will play them. Which doesnt seem to work with 'Practice vs Computer'. 

If I click reset position, it puts the computer as the first move, which was wrong. So I am back to the same problem. No way to use this feature. This has really affected my enjoyment of the puzzles. And very sad its gone.

Help!  Finish versus computer has a different icon which still lets me finish versus computer, but now the takeback (right arrow) doesn't work, clicking the arrow moves my piece back but then when I try a different move the computer stubbornly just makes the original moves that I asked to take back.  I need takeback because I use finish against computer to try different ideas by trial and error, not to practice playing better.  How do I get takebacks-- I tried generally setting takebacks on for play against computer, but when I do finish against computer it goes back to blocking my takebacks as described above.

Now reading the other comments more carefully I see that the "finish against computer" just seems not to work for the different tasks we were using it for last month or last week  I hope chess.com can make sure it goes back to working the way it did in June according to how we are describing.  Or maybe it does work with some new commands or selections we can make and we need to be informed what those commands or selections we are .

Thanks warthog chess and not old man Steve.  You are so right.  I will text  Hagan, who answered me quickly last time.  Hope they will put it back like it was.   Just changed 2 days ago.  Was perfect 3 days ago.   One of my favorite also was "finish by computer."    Was willing to pay for it.   

Maybe there is a reason to not allow takebacks (do games against computer possibly count in our rating where takebacks would artificially inflate a rating?)  But even it that is a reason to control takebacks, I think the default should be computer games do not count in rating and takebacks against computer allowed unlimited-- the computer does not care or feel cheated if I take moves back and that is very valuable to me.  Sorry to be stating the obvious!

Takebacks have been reported and should be fixed soon.

I reported another take back issue weeks ago where you cant takeback after checkmate. This has not been fixed I dont think. Or is it fixed in this new Practice mode?
