I want a feature to be able to make your own solo chess puzzles! And I want to be able to share them with other people like how you do board setups like this

Please please please think of this idea and put into consideration. It would be really awesome to be able to make your own solo chess puzzles. Thank you!

You mean like with https://www.chess.com/solo-chess

I've seen previous suggestions like that, or at least one other.

Yes. I wish that people could make their own solo chess puzzles, and share it with others.

Wdym. I set up the position, and the same rules apply, once they can get it to one piece on the board, they win. I don’t have to set up for every single answer.

DefenderPug2

what do you mean unfair, it’s a puzzle 😂. And that’s up to the puzzle creator to decided if it has several ways to solve it. The way he makes the puzzle determines if there’s many ways to do. I don’t know what you mean by unfair…..if they solve it….they win….

take this solo chess puzzle for instance. It’s simple. But there’s two ways to solve it.

1. Capture rook with knight, capture knight with bishop

or

2. Capture rook with bishop, capture bishop with knight.

if they solve it, then they solve it. I don’t see what’s ‘unfair’

well then its unfair because different people will have different answers

It’ll still let them solve it their way…..

if you only do one answer, other correct answers will be wrong

This isn’t normal chess puzzles…..it’s solo chess. You just set up the position…and let them solve it. You make the moves for the answer that your making it with.
when someone solves it, it won’t say “incorrect” if they make a different capture that wasn’t originally thought of. This lets them discover other ways to solve it.

I feel like now your just trying to prevent my idea for this puzzle feature from being made……

DefenderPug2

You will set it up with one answer that you put in. But there won’t be an incorrect message for any captures that weren’t in your part of the answer. The one answer that you put in is just to make sure that it’s solvable. But as long as in the end there’s one piece remaining, then it says “solved”

I really do hope this becomes a thing……

DefenderPug2

Has it been considered yet?

DefenderPug2

*sigh*, figures…..
