I have noticed that in the forums it is possible to post a hypothetical game from a custom starting position with no kings or multiple kings of the same color, like this

And we can also set up positions, in which the king can be captured like this one

I think we should be able to play from positions, in which there are multiple of the same color, or in which there are no kings. In the case of multiple kings an alternative winning condition to checkmate could be capturing every enemy piece, and for multiple kings of the same color the winning condition could be to first capture all but one enemy king, and then checkmate the last enemy king, with kings allowed to move into, and stay in check so long as there is are at least two kings of that color.
