Not being able to block someone who blocked you is the WORST feature ever.

Currently on chess.com, if someone blocked you, you cannot block them. Basically, if a troll/spammer blocks you, and then trolls/spams on your threads, it's impossible to stop them without help of a moderator/staff. They can just unblock you for a bit when you are not online. Chess.com, change this inmediately. There was NO need ever for this feature.

Someone insulted me randomly and blocked me and I could block them back

You might be able to block through settings instead.

Can you not view their profile and block them there?

In the web version I can go to a member's profile and block them even if they blocked me before

Exactly. Or through Report feature where u press a charge for trolling/spamming and checking that box of blocking.
