It is because the players you play would have to have a low outgoing range, for example, -200 / +25

I set my outgoing range to -25 / + 200, and, conservatively, I still get matched 90% of the time with someone at or close to my number, or lower. If I wanted to play -25 / +25, I would do it. What is the point of allowing people to specify a range if the system will not meaningfully apply it?
