Puzzle: can't anymore retry a puzzle by just clicking somewhere on the chessboard?

Until a few days ago (?), if I was to make a mistake in a puzzle, I could retry it by simply clicking somewhere on the chessboard. I liked it since I didn't have to move my mouse anyhwere, I just had to click. However, recently, things changed and we now have to explicitly click on the `Retry Puzzle` button. Why?! This completely kills my workflow! This and the old https://www.chess.com/forum/view/site-feedback/chess-com-please-get-rid-of-the-delay-before-the-first-hint-on-puzzles makes me really wonder whether you guys have some UI experts...!?

There's a bug report in on that.

this is very annoying and preventing me from solving puzzles altogether. hopefully they will bring it back.

It shouldn't prevent solving puzzles.

Thanks, hopefully, it will get fixed sooner than later. I mean, it "forces" me to find the right solution in my first attempt, which is crazy! 🤪🤣

I think this is the new behavior now (has not been corrected for a long time)

It is quite frustrating and probably I will stop solving puzzles here.

Actually, it is now back to "normal". Not only that, but the delay for the first hint has been reduced. It will have taken for ever to implement something that trivial, but at least it got done. Positive attitude...

I was actually really furious with Chess.com and even demanded a refund before I found out it was just a temporary bug. I don't blame you.

It's easy to have a positive attitude after realizing it was just a bug... But much like him, I was pretty upset by this because I thought it was just a permanent decision.

Chess.com has made some pretty bad decisions before. Like the decision to ruin their lessons by showing photos of Chess players every 10 seconds. I didn't want them to ruin the puzzles too.

well, it could be the case that the developers are doing A/B testing. So a strong feedback is much required..

The issue I originally raised has now been reverted and https://www.chess.com/forum/view/site-feedback/chess-com-please-get-rid-of-the-delay-before-the-first-hint-on-puzzles which used to drive me (and quite a few other people apparently) nuts has been addressed by greatly reducing the time delay. So, yeah, I am happy with the current interface.
