Random challenges

I all of a sudden have random challengers showing up to play. Previously I had to either create a challenge or accept a challenge, but now they just pop up randomly even though I have not created any challenges...
Anyone else having this issue?

So you sign up to team matches? If so there is no need to accept these because they automatically pop up.
