Rating range for live chess keeps changing - Chess Forums

I typically have my rating range to play people up to 400 points higher than me, frequently my settings seem to change automatically to +50. Has anyone else noticed the same? Is this intentional programming by the site or a glitch?

On one of the apps or on the website?

I just checked mine and it came up with a range of -100 to +150, which is how I set it.

On the website, I'm aware how to change it, thanks. It just seems to reset to +50 sometimes, I generally only notice after a string of lower ranked players, or a notification suggesting I expand the range.
