Yes, this is awful. I hate it and am considering dropping my subscription over it. I play a lot of puzzles. There’s literally no reason to have such a distracting UI. I’m training, not trying to impress a bot.

I really enjoyed the old tactics puzzle. It's my #1 reason for getting premium. Then they changed it! ; fir what? They think I need a dopamine hit & two different scores? Then they changed it again! My score, which I've enjoyed progressing, is now gone. Arg! The tactics app was better 10 years ago.

I have a subscription solely because I like to do puzzles. I do not want some bot constantly distracting me and telling me nonsense. It is irritating and ruins the quiet, solo nature of doing puzzles, while adding absolutely nothing of value. If it stays, I will be one subscription that goes.

I wasn't aware coach was available on puzzles on Android but could be available to some members. You might check to see if there's a new version with it disabled or see if there's a setting to remove it

The only settings available for puzzles are "collect puzzle points" (on/off) and "Show timer" (on/off). However, since you said "Coach" I went looking for that (no one would ever consider what this bot is doing coaching!) and disabled coach. This took it off the puzzles. Thank you.
This is not obvious at all; I would suggest putting a setting in the puzzles settings about whether or not you want the coach there while puzzling.

Turning of Coach will turn it off for everything, including Game Review as I understand it. I know there were plans on adding a specific setting to turn it off on puzzles though.

Get rid of the new format. Why is there a never ending need to over complicate a UI? Do your SW devs need to feel they are doing something? Go back to the simplistic format. No need for some dude telling my move was correct when the board clearly lets you know what is and isn't a correct move.
