Starting rating for puzzles

I'm a free member which means I get 5 puzzles a day. I actually like having this restriction because in theory, this should force me to focus more on the 5 puzzles I have and stop after that rather than just blitz out moves for 20 puzzles. However, the problem is, despite the fact that all of my other ratings started me at 1600 (I selected the most advanced level) my puzzle rating started at 1000. Therefore, I've been doing puzzles for the last two weeks that are way too easy, and have only gotten to 1450 or so despite making no mistakes. I'm just mildly annoyed that it'll take me months to get to my previous rating of 3000 (on my old account, and that was when I blitzed out moves, so if I go slow I should be able to get it higher). I just wish that the starting rating for puzzles was changed based on the level you select.
