Stockfish 14 was never available here, so staff fell back to what was available. Though, my understanding is 14 also causes the same crash.

I bet that when all is set and done stockfish wont have been available for months! Its already weeks!
And the paying user couldnt really care less if its on chromes end or if chess.com doesnt have good enough coders to program around it/find a solution quickly. For the end user this cant be judged either way.
The reason is irrelevant. The only thing that counts is that stockfish 15 is probably not available for months.
BTW another thing thats annoying is that safari didnt have stockfish 15 even before this. Do better.

I kinda agree here, for paying members, there should be some compensation considered....i hope thats at least part of the discussion behind the scenes.

yup, I don't want stockfish to keep telling me I made a ton of random inaccuracies then when I import the game to stockfish 14 on lichess it says those are some of the best moves.

Actually, Stockfish 15 is on beta and has rolled out to a percentage of the normal user base. I believe it's not available in Play but on Analysis, it is.

Yes today is the first day stockfish 15 popped up in the analysis. Yesterday in my interface stockfish 11 still popped up.
SF 11 is still 3400+ Elo. Stronger than any human player could ever hope to be. Strong enough to obliterate Magnus Carlsen like he's an ant.
I understand it's frustrating to not have the newest version, but SF 11 is still quite capable of helping you analyze your games ...
