Tactics - Interface Bug and Suggestion on Move Scrolling

Where the problem occurs:

In the tactics interface above, the marked arrow buttons, do not always function correctly. I have encountered this frequently, but I will not go so far as to say it always happens although that might be the case. If this does not happen always, then at least in this puzzle "542040" It is consistently replicated for me.

What is the problem:

When you reach the end of the line and you start backing up move by move, it seems like the image on the board is not in sync. When I press the button to go forward, I hear the sound of the piece moving, but nothing moves. Then I press again and it's back in sync, functioning correctly. This is just a small nuisance, still it would be nice if it could be fixed at some point.

---------------------------------

Feature Inconsistency Noticed:

In the image above, the right side is analysis interface, left is tactics. On the right, you can use arrow buttons on keyboard to scroll through the moves. Vertical is beginning or end, horizontal is one move at a time. On the left, the keyboard cannot be used in the same way. It seems a bit messy when the same method is not supported on every board.

Suggestion For Convenience:

If you look at the image, I marked a red square around the board. If the mouse hovers over the board, is inside the red square. It would be nice to allow the scroll wheel on the mouse to scroll through the moves, in the same way as the arrow buttons I mentioned earlier do. You already have a similar feature for the move list itself. If mouse hovers over the move list, the scroll wheel scrolls down the list. It only does that if you hover over it. So that same kind of trigger can perhaps be implemented when you hover over the board to actually scroll through the moves on the board.

Where To Implement Suggestion:

On the analysis board, profile page when looking through your games, tactics, even in live after a game is completed, it would be really nice to have this feature. Pretty much just consistently using this where ever you have a chessboard.

Final note:

I am not particularly good at writing and doing so in English is even harder for me if anything. So I hope you can excuse any grammatical issues or if I am using a word incorrectly. I tried to write this as cleanly as I possibly could, in hopes that the meaning will be understood.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. grin.png

I just googled to find out if I was just missing something or is this still the case.

Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to do it, since that's kinda it seems to work on other unnamed servers, and that in itself brings muscle-memory kinds of things into play.
