There are roughly 20 billion people on this site, why can’t I play an unrated game?

Which is about the same amount of increase in the price of gas.

Funny forum!
Maybe there's ways to get unrated games not discussed yet.
I would think it would be hard to get an unrated game at long time controls.
What about at popular time controls like 3/2 ?
-----------
Regarding unrated - I learned gradually - to do tactics puzzles on the website unrated.
And without any clock.
If I don't see the idea fairly quickly - then I say its okay to pick a move on principle and get the Incorrect.
But even playing unrated - you can still pick a rating range for the puzzles you attempt.
I like 2600-3200 when I want it hard and 2000-2600 as quite a bit easier but not that easy.
To get the true rating of a puzzle group- subtract maybe 600 from the lower end of the 600 range.

Just wait a bit and increase your rating pairing range

I actually reduced it.
I'm limited to five puzzes a day and that's fine.
Stops me from over-indulging.
I also stopped doing 'puzzle-rush'. Was interesting for a bit - and then wasn't.

Um bud we're not here about puzzles

That's right. I made a comment about unrated as it applies to puzzles rather than games.
I also made a comment about unrated as it pertains to the time controls of whatever wanted unrated game.
To protect one's rating some members make a second account (which is allowed by the website but with rules) - and then experiment with that account - which will have a different rating.
The point: Ideas behind playing unrated.

Mind not posting about puzzles and making your own thread? Context cleaning.

Did you notice the earlier discussion about billions and trillions of people?
Do you take these things seriously?
I mentioned puzzles. Try to not get upset and uptight.
You reacted with 'God' when IPG made a post.
Should we tell you to please keep religion out of it?
Context cleansing?
Try to follow your own advice?
I don't think I'll imitate you. Nor will I indulge your pingpong.
(common error - people taking themselves too seriously)
'Um bud' (your expression) lighten up guy.

The opening poster said '20 billion people on the site' ...
happy

Yes I do take forums seriously. And I do have a slightly strong opinion about staying on-topic. I used "god" as an expression, not as a religious tie-in. I don't play ping pong, maybe you mean that as an expression. I don't drink bud light either.
