I hope this reaches the admin or moderators of chess.com. I wish there were, or there could be, titles for non-FIDE players when they reach the required ELO. The design of the title could be non-colored, for example, monochrome, so it wouldn’t be red. This way, there’s a distinction between officially titled players and non-titled players.
And yes, titled non-FIDE players wouldn’t get free diamond membership. The purpose is purely for display, to provide some challenge for players who can’t participate in tournaments and can only play online.
