Updated app game and self analysis

Apparently an update was pushed on Android and now the app analysis looks more like the website. But the experience is HORRENDOUS. Can we please get back the old app experience?
Game analysis doesn't allow moving back and forth by a single move. Garbage
Self analysis shows all sorts of confusing arrows.
The eval on both is all over the place. Like, says kb6 is my best move, but then calls it an inaccuracy.
Completely agree, it's terrible.

Agreed. I posted a 1 star review following the update and I'm ready to cancel my premium membership. It's borderline unusable, and they took away the step by step analysis mode l used all the time.
Play on Android too and completely agree. New analysis display is terrible.
It somehow manages to combine all the worst elements of post game analysis into one hot, unusable mess. Chess.com, do you even beta test your brilliant new ideas and designs? Because if you do, you need new beta testers.
For the first time in 10 years, I'm actively considering moving to lichess for my online blitz play.

The new Game Review feature is a welcome addition to the Android app! Thank you to the Android Developers! Not having a step Forward and Back button in Game review is a small inconvenience.
What I do to step through each move in Game Review on Android tablet is I touch each move with my finger in the list of moves from the game . No big deal for me to step forward and back using this method.

That's fine if you're playing on a large screen tablet. On a phone with limited screen real estate, I can assure you this is far from an elegant solution and still markedly worse in terms of ease of use and clear presentation than what we had before.
We don't begrudge that new features might be welcome in some circumstances, it's that they come at the expense of what was already working better for others.

In the past, I've had good success submitting Android App Feedback/Feature Requests/Bug Reports.
In the past week, I have submitted two different App Feedback/Bug Tickets regarding the new Android Game Review feature, you should do the same. (Be sure to reference this Forum Post.)

I hope it gets fixed. I have a gold membership and get the impression that the new interface is a shameless plug for upgrading to diamond. Also, it's really hard to move back and forward within the report tool and I can't seem to be able to try other move combinations to see what would happen had I made a different move.

You can scroll through and click moves in the move list and then hit Retry to do a different move.

The only thing I like about this new update is that it shows the next suggested lines (similar to the other chess site). With this function I can analyze a game much more deeply and quickly.
The new Game Review isn't bad. It has lots of new great things on it that I love. But, you NEED to be able to go back and forth by a single move easily on it. It's not good enough that that feature is available in Self Analysis. I love the new Game Review, but I just about can't use it because I can't go back and forth by a single move, unless I painfully click each move individually at a time (which I do sometimes but then stop because of how annoying it is).

The "game review" mode has become absolutely horrible! You cannot browse the moves any more (back and forth as other people said), except by awkwardly clicking on each move in the move list, which is completely unusable!
Also, you cannot input your own moves any more, and see the best line by clicking on "forward". Every nice feature is gone.
Why did you change something which was perfect and replace it with this nonsense??

Click the Analysis button and you can move through move by move and try variations.

Apparently they put back the forward/backward arrows in the last update. However you cannot input your own move, which was a great feature. The "game review" mode was perfect as it was. And I know I can go to "game analysis" but this is not what I am talking about.

Prior to the new Game Review feature on Android, we had the older Game Report feature. You can read about the new Game Review feature here.
The two biggest changes between the older Game Report feature and the newer Game Review feature are 1.) the newer Game Review uses "CAPS2", an improved version of the original Chess.com “CAPS” (Computer Accuracy Precision Score) algorithm, and 2.) the newer Game Review feature uses the newer "move descriptor classification categories". You can read about these features here. However, it appears to me that the Game Analysis feature on Android is still using the older "move descriptor classification categories".
