Why did my profile picture dissappear?

I noticed accidentally that I don't have a profile picture any more. I did not remove or change it. How could it happen?

I'm not seeing any indication that staff or moderators removed an avatar on your account.

idk, but if you are still able to change it, just change it back then, maybe its because you hadn't been online for too long or some bug I guess?
