Why is 10 minute blitz considered rapid now?

when i have started chess i can play 10 min blitz but now when i go to 10 min it starts a rapid match. can anyone help me to play a 10 min blitz.

You can't unless you play something like 5|5 or 8|2

It's still the exact same game it's always been, just under a different rating.

Don't forget everyone else was promoted to where you are now from where you and they were before.  the people at your present rating were promoted higher, out of your reach.

because mostly on all websites 10 + 0 is know as rapid
